The role of Kurwenal in the Lyric Opera production of Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde," which opens Jan. 27 at the Civic Opera House, will be shared by baritone Jason Stearns (Jan. 27-Feb. 8) and bass-baritone Greer Grimsley (Feb. 12-28).
