At least 26 people were wounded, including an 8-year-old boy, during a bloody six hours that left four men dead late Saturday into early Sunday. About 9:55 p.m. Saturday, a 26-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the armpit near East 71st Street and South Vernon Avenue and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition. A suspect is in custody, police said.
