Little goes right for Bears in 37-3 loss to Green Bay Brad Biggs: The good news is the Bears woke up this morning to find themselves still tied for first place in the weakling NFC North. As for the bad news, have you got all day?

Time for Bears to face reality, rebound Mike Mulligan: There comes a point in every season for every team where you either stand up and make a move or you fade away and die. The Bears reached that point Sunday after a dreadful 37-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. It was a wretched game in which nothing went right and a couple of truths were painfully revealed.

Smith blind to Bears' collapse Greg Couch: The only beauty in this is that the Bears can stop pretending now. The disarray started in full last week, when the Bears were blaming each other, pointing fingers.

BEARS IN BRIEF: Manning subs for slumping Hester

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Bears made a call to the bullpen on kickoff returns Sunday, a move that at least will be considered moving forward.

Hard to find silver lining in Bears' awful loss Rick Telander: This, my friends, is why God invented metaphors. The 37-3 thing that occurred Sunday at Lambeau Field was a festering hunk of road kill. It was a light bulb in a trash compactor.

Bears 'D' buried by Grant's doom:

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The matchup had colossal mismatch written all over it.

Angelo still waiting for 'D' to show

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Mounting criticism of the Bears' defensive schemes has not fallen on deaf ears.

Orton not 100 percent, but offense even worse

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Not even Kyle Orton could save the Bears in this one.

Rodgers surprised by Bears' approach on defensive line

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Seven-man front, eight-man front, Bob Babich said it didn't matter when Ryan Grant came charging at his defense on a weak-side lead, the play Green Bay stung the Bears with over and over again.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Bears coach Lovie Smith will not be calling Rocky Top home, sweet home any time soon.

Lovie Smith's postgame reactions

Lovie Smiths' postgame reactions:

Brothers in arms square off as Orton, Rodgers duel Brad Biggs: Kyle Orton has hustled back from his injured right ankle in time for an important division game and to begin a rivalry with old buddy Aaron Rodgers. With any luck, the two will be at the center of Bears-Packers games for the next decade.

Packers can't dodge Brett Favre's shadow Mike Mulligan: You can add envy and jealousy to the turbulent mix of emotions in Green Bay these days. Brett Favre's success with the New York Jets -- after an overtime victory Thursday at New England moved them to 7-3 and alone atop the AFC East -- comes as an affront to some fans in troubled Cheeseland.

Improving Orton probable for Pack It's not often in the last decade that the Bears have looked forward to the quarterback carousel spinning around. Count Sunday's game at Lambeau Field as one of those times. Kyle Orton was listed Friday as probable on the injury report and is expected to start against the Green Bay Packers with first place in the NFC North on the line.

Rookie Bennett waiting for opportunity to knock

A week after what receiver Brandon Lloyd called a ''strategy decision'' to make Lloyd inactive in order for rookie Earl Bennett to play special teams, the Bears' plan could be altered.

What was the worst part of the loss vs. Green Bay?

Devin Hester's lackluster returning.

The offensive play-calling.

The extremely generous defense.

All of it was a complete disaster.
